And now the fuckwit goes around liking all of the posts mentioning him, without reading them to see that we all want him to remove himself from the gene pool. Jesus Christ. If his generation is the future, we're overdue for an extinction-level event.

hell, I have 3 lol. 2 stay in the vault but I CCW a Kimber CDP II. I need to start collecting. Issue is all the ones I want are not cali compliant or if they are they have a weird quirk about them.

Gotta get outta Cali.

Yeah, being a gun enthusiast in Cali has got to be depressing. Don't they regulate ammo sales now too?

That was one of my dream guns. But I rented one n I found it to be so snappy for a lowly 9mm and I wasn't as accurate with it. So I scratched it off the list but it's one of the most beautiful 1911's out there. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

:iagree:

All 1911's are beautiful. John Browning designed great looking pistols.

I have a Para USA all aluminum Big Hawg. 15shots and 24oz. I'm so in love with it. All that power and low recoil for a light .45.

Chuck33079 01-16-2017 10:57 AM

Sadly, for 1911s I'm down to only my Les Baer bullseye gun and a beater I'm using for some more advanced gunsmithing projects. I need a few more.

That's the prime reason I won't take a job in Cali... I'm a felon as soon as I cross the state line.... ALL my guns are illegal in that state....

as of 16 days ago... yes. Luckily Arizona & nevada are short drives away... Not that I would try to get around our Glorious Leader and his Glorious Laws. I would never do that.

I love my Kimber. IDK if I would buy another 1911 though. They're so picky and high maintenance lol.

I've got a Para SSP (government length), Colt Combat Commander, Colt Officer's model & Kimber Ultra Carry II. Still pondering a Kimber Micro....

Oh, and they are all in .45

Not all of them. I've had a few more stripped down ones that ate everything without a hiccup. But anything that's built for competition-grade accuracy tends to be a picky eater.

I want a 10mm 1911 next. In case my home is invaded. By a tank.
