Screw that. I guess one 1911, S&W 629 and then panic

VABAM 07-28-2016 08:41 AM

For me HK45, DE, and hide the rest.

:roflpuke2:

I need for Glock to make a compact .45 ACP. The full sizes are awkward in my hand and the subs are too damn small.

Really, what kind of stupidity says I can ONLY have 3 hand guns... :shakes head:

It ain't about 'guns' it's about 'control'..... :icon23:

I'd assume that you need a class 3 license which I thought was a pain in the *** to get

Truer words never spoken. Now they want to go after your pocket knife.

Hey dumbasses in D.C. you can try to point blame in hopes of controlling us but the smart ones know the danger lies in the human instrument, not what they chose to use to do their deed.

A class 3 license is a pain to get, but to own an open bolt M10 (which is a semi-auto), it just takes $$. Last time I checked, I could get one for about $1200, which really sucks because when they came out, they were $350.... :icon14:

I wish I still had it...:owned:

If it was a semi. It had to be made before 1982. After that date, all open bolts got classified as full auto's. :shakes head:

I don't remember when it was made since I bought it from a friend back in the 80s. Parts were cheap, I could have bought another bolt to modify for next to nothing. :shakes head:

Oh well, hindsight is 20/20.... :owned:

I'm 100% settled on which handgun I'm getting. Sig P226 .40 S&W
**** can be changed out to fire either the .40, .357 sig, or 9mm. Plus lots of surplus ones from military/police use so cheap

Abntroop 08-04-2016 09:41 PM

Lost all mine in a tragic boating accident.

True. Just be sure that you get one with the Short Reset Trigger (SRT) installed. Trust me. Best upgrade that you can do on these guns short of a custom trigger job, and about 1/4 the price.

A new sporting goods store here in Las Cruces has a Bushmaster 50 for just under $5k. Thought I'd mention it if anyone is looking for a cheap 50. But the fuckin thing is heavy. A bull-barrel 50 is great for long range accuracy but bad if you want to carry it a half-mile to a range.
