Mine isn't very picky, then again, I did try several different types & manufacturers before I found one I liked. The other 3 have had the barrel ramp worked on so the HPs feed reliably.

Not all of them. I've had a few more stripped down ones that ate everything without a hiccup. But anything that's built for competition-grade accuracy tends to be a picky eater.

I want a 10mm 1911 next. In case my home is invaded. By a tank.

I have a bunch of 80% lowers that are drilled. I purchased them before the ban of this year. Not sure what to do with them. I really wanted to make a BlackOut AR but idk much about the round.

Yea, I kinda just went straight for the CDP II. I never really looked at much else. Just liked the look and package details for the price. I should get the ramp worked on though. Maybe itll help the feed.

If you are going to continue here I strongly suggest you change your posting habits.

Posting pics and not elaborating in the discussion is not really adding to the discussion more like trolling.

I strongly suggest you engage in any discussion you post in besides a worthless pic or emoji.

I will not be giving you another warning as it's totally up to you IF you wish to continue here.

Im tired of warning members and taken action on some simply because your here disrupting the community.

You will not be warned again and so think twice about posting useless pics and walking away without actually being part of the discussion.

IF thats all you want to do stay in the off topic section and avoid the rest of the forum.

And I know this is the off topic thread

Back on Topic!

Did I mention the last time I fired a 38 it had a nice kick to it.

Never fired a 1911 but looking forward to it one day.

Can't go wrong with a 1911.

My dad is 85 years old and still shoots a 1911 'bullseye' style. One handed, with the other hand in the pocket.

And still puts them in the 10 ring...

That describes 80% of the guys at our bullseye matches. Throwing 10 rounds of .45 into one ragged hole at 50 yards one-handed. I've accepted the fact that I'll never be that good.

Nice! I hope I'm still shooting that good when I reach his age.

Nice.

I'll see next time I'm in New Mexico visiting my kids if my son in law could pick one up to try.

Awesome to hear about your Pops still shooting
