I watched LaPierre's address to the UN on Youtube today. Good stuff.

I'm not saying that one shouldn't donate to the NRA/ILA in support of their stance, but I suspect we have only seen the leading edge of the fear-mongering that will be coming down the pike and I'm inclined to take it all with a grain of salt. The NRA is most definitely not above trying to scare the people into donating to it. This Arms Treaty can't have any direct effect on US law, and international treaties can't supersede the Constitution. |
NRA is always trying to scare me to donate... they waste too much of my money on paper and postage. :icon17:

I don't own any Gen4 Glocks so I can't speak to any spring issue there, but AFAIK most people that have ejection problems with the Gen3 and earlier (stovepipe and/or brass heading for their face/shirt) is due to limp-wristing the gun. It's a correctable user error.

I'm going to pick up a Gen4 19 (or 17, or both) tomorrow. So excite.
Headed straight to the range from there. Got a new range bag, too. This one: Range Bags | Range Ready Bag | 5.11 Tactical $100 on Amazon and it's nice! Plenty of space for bringing several pistols to the range. |
I have a g19 gen 4 my self.
One of the only issue i have with it is that it rubs against my middle finger knuckle under the trigger guard. Not sure why because i'm my xdm 5.25 i don't have that issue. The trigger guard looks similar to the xdm. But i do have a hogue grip on my glock. Maybe that's what causing it. I don't have big hands either. Quote:

So i have a UTG a2 style carry handle. It's not bad. My only huge problem with it is, the rear site knob. They are extremely stiff.
Someone on amazon worked it out to make it smooth. Can anyone take the time to make a youtube vid out of it???:tup::tup: "I did find the rear sight to be a bit stiff and it seemed to "hang up" a bit when elevated. I took it apart and ran a 1/2 drill through the rear sight assembly hole in the handle body and re-finished the bare aluminum with Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black (an essential product any AR enthusiast should have on hand). It works fine now, no hang-ups and smooth" |
