That's the strangest looking trigger I think I have ever seen. :)

Nice looking rifle.

My dad bought a CZ bolt .22 a couple years ago, put a Leupold 2-7x33 on it, and we took it out to a local gravel pit that doubles as a shooting range and consistently hit a torso size steel target at 300 yards. I've got a 300BLK AR, a .223, and a bolt .308 myself and that .22 strolled right past all 3 of them to claim the top spot as my favorite.

TheWolfe 07-20-2017 11:25 AM

Hey, guys. I built my own AR in January this year. As well as being my very first rifle, I also set a pretty low budget for this build: no more than $800 including tools, magazines, optics, etc. The glass is meh at best, but the rest of the rifle is top-notch. I was out shooting with my uncle and his Noveske and after shooting both, I can say it definitely stands its ground. I love it a lot. :)

Here are some pictures I took on my porch:

JNews86 07-28-2017 11:25 AM

I'd hope you'd be able to build a rifle and have it stand with a Noveske. They're way too expensive. You can build some badass stuff for half that.

Or as it turns out, apparently a third :rofl2: It's all good though! They both shoot pretty well :) The Noveske is quite a chunk of change, though :ugh2:

Rusty 07-28-2017 01:42 PM

You know what bums me out? I can't go shoot a rifle now because of my torn bicep muscle. :shakes head: I can still shoot a handgun with the other hand tho.

I still need to add one of those to my collection

JNews86 07-30-2017 10:59 AM

I'd relocate where the light is mounted on the rifle though. Just my opinion.

Need Help IDing Taurus Revolver

Bought a used Taurus .357 Magnum revolver today. 6" barrel, 7-shot cylinder, double action, no manuals. Looking at the Taurus revolver page I think I have a Model 66 (Model 65 with 7-shot cylinder) but not sure as I can't find any confirming markings on the gun. Is there someway to ID by serial number (didn't see anything on Taurus' site)? Is there someplace to download the user's manual (couldn't find on Taurus)? TIA

Edit: Found the manual. Just had to dig a little deeper on Taurus' site.

Edit 2: When I open the cylinder, there is a "66" stamped into the frame below the slot for the extractor. Hidden by the cylinder arm when cylinder is closed. Found it when I broke the gun down for a good cleaning. Probably the model number but I have yet to be able to confirm this.

Edit 3: Did some more digging on Taurus' site and found a s/n lookup. I'm going blind - the link was very close to the link to manuals. It's a 66B6 (Model 66, Blued, 6" barrel).

My grandma got a Taurus Judge a few years ago and I think she had the same problem (or at least mentioned that it was difficult finding a manual online for her gun). Glad you found it

You have to scroll down to the bottom of Taurus' pages to find the link to the manuals.

The manual for revolvers seems to cover most, if not all, of their models. There is info on what they call a "Raging Bull Style Large Frame" .410/.45 near end of PDF that may be the Judge. http://www.taurususa.com/pdf/revolver-manual.pdf

Nice! I think that's the PDF she found and printed out lmao. This was years ago, she's got it all sorted out now :)

VABAM 08-09-2017 10:09 AM

Some thing to remember about Taurus revolvers is they have a life time warranty. The rear ball lock for the cylinder broke/wore out on my 608 (large frame 8 shot .357 mag) and they fixed it for free. Only cost me shipping to get it to them.

If you're having a hard time IDing it just post a picture here as well lol

That's neat. This would be helpful building 300blk cases from 5.56.

From what I've been reading. A lot of long range guys are annealing every 2nd reload to keep the neck tension the same. And are using this to do it.

What I was implying is this annealer would make annealing bulk amounts of brass easier.

HKParts Micro Comp
HKParts Extended Magwell
HKParts 20 Round Magazines
HKParts 5 round Magazine Extensions (for my existing mags)
Dawson Precision Competition Sights
H&K German made P30L Threaded 9mm Barrel (RARE!)

http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1505335145

BTW I got the MGW sight pusher a long time ago.
Having many HK pistols, it made sense getting one.
FYI it doesn't work with Dawson Precision Rear Competition sights.

Also I finished my USC to UMP conversion a while back but forgot to post the after pics. :D

I have one of those. Mod 29-2 with the 6.5" barrel. Bought it in 1977 when I turned 21. The blue velvet in the case fell apart. Which I have to replace. :shakes head:

Now this is something to behold.

Picked up a t/c centerfield compass just a few days ago. On sale with a rebate. I have $225 total into it with a basic scope.
Great rifle for my son in the field during deer season. I still cannot believe how cheap that was for .308.

It was not mine BTW. I just was impressed with the layout a collection. I also don't smoke, but can appreciate a good smelling cigar and a glass of Scotch.

Just picked up a Thompson Compass in .308. It was on sale and a healthy rebate.
They were practically giving the gun to me. Mine came with a cheap scope, but decent.
I just bought a Lee die set for .308 so I can I have some fun and keep my wallet.

Here is what I got.
