Oil has come a long way! This car gets good use, high speed and rev's stop and go traffic, and we have seen some higher oil and air temps as well. Bravo Mobil-1!! Car has 14000miles now. Its a daily driver as well. --Dave: Aluminum, iron, copper, and silicon all read a little high in this engine's first sample, but these are common to see in young engines. Your engine is from 2010, but it's still quite low mileage, so we're guessing the highlighted elements (plus aluminum) are due to residual wear-in and not a problem. Silicon, then, would be from factory sealers and sand-casted parts. Averages are based on 4,800 miles for this engine, though you shouldn't have any problems with longer oil runs. Mr Force Im sold on it after this. I was also considering Pennzoil Platinum. I have some engineer friends/contacts at Porsche here and they all use Mobil1 as does the factory and its racing efforts. Its more than good enough! I will do 1 more UOA next time and then give it a rest. I had never used such a service. Very pleased.!
