Well 16 is a bit re-god dam*-tarded lol. I have 4... But to answer the question, I prefer multiple controllers due to if one F-ks up, you've got one for the rest still... You have a single massive controller, they are usually always huge and bulky. Plus if they die, YOU are F-kd.
