I'm a recent college grad and I landed a job that pays 53k a year and no matter how I look at it, I can't afford this car. I'm just curious to see how much Z owners make.

its more of a how comfortable are you in buying a car that can range from 26-42k new... some people save their money and buy it out right, others finance or sometimes lease.

How comfortable are you in purchasing a car that can get quite expensive, whats your overhead, and what can you ration for car payments without sinking yourself into debt...?

I'll definitely finance if I were to buy. No way I have already save 30k right out of college. It would be nice if I can pay 500 tops including payments and insurance.

you can buy a used Z base im sure around the 20-25K mark put down a few thousand and if you have a clean driving record you can get the Z for right around $500 a month with insurance.

Then ur gonna be looking at a little bit more, but with a good credit history and steady income like Mike said you should be able to get payments to about 500 a month. Im currently paying 503.00 a month. with 2.99% apr.

If you can't afford a 370Z making 53K you must have a lot of debt / other expenses. I take home ~4200 month (~51k after taxes) and a 370Z would be no issue.

Hell someone making 25-30K could afford one depending on individual circumstance. Many people on this forum had mom/ dad pay for or 1/2, etc so it all depends.

Bottom line is that personal income is just one of many other aspects which dictates rather or not someone can "afford" something.
