I don't recommend remote starters on any manual transmission vehicle. I refused to install them on so many vehicles, just because of the "what if". Many manufacturers would come to me every season trying to get me to stock their remote starters for manual transmission cars, they would say it has this safety or that safety... it just wasn't worth the risk.

I agree it is risky! Its always in neutral when I park..I never leave it in gear..BUT If I drop it off at the dealer or somewhere.. I turn off the starter before leaving it with them and they dont know that i turned it off either. The switch is hidden. But yeah i do agree its very risky.

My friend has a remote starter on his Maxima, he likes it because he can be lazy and turn his car on in the morning from inside his house and let it warm up for him so he can go to work.
