Taste is purely subjective but it did make a less bitter espresso using the same beans and grind. Temperature stability is very key when it comes to making espresso. The really high end machines use a PID in one way or another. The PID keeps the temperatures pretty solid compared to the high/low click/clack relays. Everything I did was around $250. |
