Sucks. Did insurance say it was your fault or the person who almost hit you? I had a similar incident in May 2010. Totaled my 2010 Maxima after 4 months when. I was turning left to get onto the highway when some guy in a pickup truck coming from the other direction jumped out of the highway on ramp and decided to keep going straight. I managed to stop my car in time and out of his lane, but the bastard still swerved into me. Of course the insurance said it was automatically my fault because I was turning left
