i have been into FF since 7 came out for ps1 (no homo) but 13 pissed me off and i put it down and said "**** this game". i don't feel like a game should punish the user for playing it. i kinda liked the new combat system, tho i never quite got the hang of it all that well. i understood how it worked but wasn't that great at figuring out what stance to switch to and when the exact right moment to do so which made some boss fights really hard. that's not my issue. some elements of the game felt like down right torture. i remember i got to a "wall" boss and couldn't get past it. i looked it up online and found out there's a "19 in 20 chance" that it will cast doom on you and unless you are waaayyyyy leveled up or don't get doom cast on you, you are straight up f'd with no way of winning. that is the point i stopped at but there was a lot more leading up to it before that to anger me. the graphics looked amazing but the story was kinda bland imo. love it or hate it, FF12 is still my favorite.

i never liked ff just because i hated walking around and fighting an enemy like every second. its like pokemon except more boring.

that's what i liked about 12 because you could walk around enemies you didn't want to fight or catch them off guard for a surprise attack

VI and VII are by far the best in terms of story.... tho I think it was XII... I played while in Africa and I loved it! the graphics were legit for ps2, and the story was pretty decent...
