A few months ago, I had this employee totally argue with me in a meeting. It wasn't that he was wrong per se, he was just going off of a very old policy, and we had updated it several times since then. What made it memorable is that he just wouldn't listen to reason, and was insanely defensive on his position.

Fast forward a couple months, he walks into an interview panel for a supervisory position, and guess who the lead interviewer was

OR when someone who is in a higher position the you, but doesn't know your job is like, you need to do things this way, and you have to explain to them that the computer systems won't let that happen, and they get all butt hurt an tell you to fix it.. .like im gonna recode our software, just to make a report for him....

Just a little secret, if I call someone to offer them an interview and they have rap playing as their ringback tone, I fuckin hangup before they answer and mark them off the list. If you're applying for jobs, have a little professionalism and turn off "big booty hos."
