I have actually tried everything in that thread and no luck. I think it is a broader issue because I still hard lockup after the sound card and with or without cf enabled.
I might try putting my old mobo back in to see if it could be a mobo issue, but right now I am leaning towards a i7 and new mobo and triple channel ram or a new amd build depending on how much I am willing to spend. At the end of the day bf3 will have cost me a couple grand. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
