what game types are most of you guys playing? I used to do tdm for a while to rank up quicker but recently have been doing on rush.

As an old-school BF guy I mostly do conquest. Every once in awhile I do encounter team players during a rush map, which is a beautiful thing.

Hopped on a map at lunch and immediately was killed by a Glock 18 when spawned in the train car on Metro. What the hell is wrong with people?

I saw a blurb on BF3Blog where they did a big cleansing of known cheaters, banning them for life. So that's good.

Eugh, TDM in BF3?

Rush or conquest only. I prefer rush though, especially on the new maps.

haha to be honest I played a bunch of Rush on Bad Company II but havent really touched it on BF3. Conquest is too long to hold my attention.

I typically do conquest. Rush would be great with cohesive teams, but 99% of the time I get frustrated and leave because the defenders always seem to want to attack and the attackers always seem to want to sit back and snipe... wtf???

Honestly, for me it's the other way around.

I get frustrated on conquest because people always fight on the road/forest/whatever and not the points. Likewise, two or three people often get swallowed up in a big conquest map, but in a rush map, they can carry the team pretty easily.

agreed. conquest is very hard to carry with just a 2-3man squad.

Conquest primarily with some Rush thrown in. I guess I'm a traditionalist (stuck in my ways) as BF was built on conquest.

Commander mode from bf2 would take care of all the chaos problems in both conquest and rush..
Also, platoon battles would have been a cool feature
