$41,000 isnt lower than alot of major cities. Look at ones like Baltimore, Atlanta, Dallas, New Orleans......

I think as said before that cost of living is an important factor.

The place I live in would be a 3 mil dollar apartment in Manhattan.

The total house would be 6-7mil

Just depends on the area I suppose.

This just doesnt sound right. The infrastructure can't currently support salaries like that.

They are underpaid for all the BS they deal with I agree. But they arent the least paid. ALOT of places make like 10k less.

Holy hell. Our city has 14K employees TOTAL. Probably a couple thousand cops; and Phoenix is the 5th largest city in the country.
