Miami

Then either Atlanta or Baltimore.

I forgot Atlanta. I like it there a lot. I'll replace New Orleans with Atlanta.

I grew up outside NOLA, so I guess it doesn't count.

Togo 08-27-2009 08:53 PM

I gotta say I'm not much of a fan of either Miami or LA. Miami was too hot every time I've been. 90+ at night is just too much for me.

cow 08-27-2009 08:54 PM

I've not visited Miami, but it's not too high on my list of places to go.

I do like LA a lot.

HELLO?! Portland, Oregon?

Stripper capital of the Nation.

I'd be happy living in Portland, Oregon a lot, too.

GREAT city.

I'd live in Bordeaux or Paris or Marseilles over probably any US city in a heartbeat, though.

If I were to live in Europe I would pick Munich, Madrid, or London. Maybe even Liverpool.

Come to NYC though you will love it! Forget Boston they suck!

I've yet to visit Boston, and Chicago. I suspect I'd like em both.

This I do know. I've spent quite a few days on the beach there. Great beaches. Got laid at the beach there too! :D

frost 08-27-2009 08:57 PM

I dont like the people. I went to college in Rhode Island for a year....that was enough for me. I almost got into fights because I was from NY. Yeah, Yankees played a role in it haha.

Togo 08-27-2009 09:03 PM

I can see the fights breaking out, especially if you head out to the bars at all while there.

Bars werent the problem campus was.

Togo 08-27-2009 09:06 PM

Oh wow. Thats pretty shitty then.

Hey let me ask you this since you live in the Bronx. Where do you keep your car? I'm considering moving to Queens or Brooklyn after I finish the academy class. (Short commute, great city, etc) I just don't know what the whole paying for a parking/storage is like. Do you know much about that?

Keeping in mind I'd be storing a bike and a Z.

Its ok I wasnt scared! lol

I leave it on campus. At my friends places I always just leave it on the street in front of their apartments. You dont need to get a storage place to park lol. If you rent just leave it out front.

Togo 08-27-2009 09:09 PM

Man I feel sketched out about leaving a nice new Z sitting out front in the city. Dings, scratches, break-ins!

Depends on where you live. My area is ok.

Togo 08-27-2009 09:12 PM

Gotcha. I was thinking like Astoria or maybe a place in Cobble Hill/Brooklyn Heights.

blue660r01 08-27-2009 09:12 PM

Why those 2 boroughs if you dont mind me asking?

Togo 08-27-2009 09:16 PM

Well, I'd still be on the Island so sorta close to home/family, not that other areas wouldn't be. I figure Manhattan will be way more expensive than what a first year NYPD LEO could afford with addition life expenses. I'll probably be in Queens for IMPACT. I'm thinking Transit for the all the OT, plus my brother works in Transit IMPACT now so I'd get to work with him. We have good hooks who can arrange that.

Just cuz you will go to impact doesnt mean you will end up in queens.

I hate Queens!!!

Togo 08-27-2009 09:19 PM

No i know that much. But with my hooks, I'll go where I want for the most part.

blue660r01 08-27-2009 09:21 PM

Good luck!
