So I'm looking at this deed (I do oil & gas title work) filed in 1859. It's a succession of this guy & it's naming his assets, some of which were slaves. One woman is described as, "Roxanna, a griff woman aged fifteen year."
I'd never heard the word "griff" used in reference to a person before. Apparently it's some archaic way to say "mixed." Who knew? I guess the master messed with Roxanna's mommy. |
jesus I had way too much last night

You know that song Poker face by Lady Gaga? Well someone just ruined that song for life for me.... and now I am about to ruin it for you! (maybe :ugh:)
The next time you hear it, the real version goes Fuh, fuh, f**k her face |

You will definitely need mud. Just spend six bucks and buy a box of Beadex all purpose Topping. Though you get a lot its normally the cheapest way to go and you can find plenty of it at any Home Depot or Lowes. You can either put a new piece of rock between the studs if its a big hole and then mud it back in with a spatula, or if its small enough, you just need something you can place in the hole and behind the drywall to create a backing for the mud you will use to fill the hole. Got pics? |

Is there already a thread where people post pics they've taken? It seem like there was one, but I can't find it.

Yeah, I started in vancouver. I spent a few days there, followed by almost two weeks in various alaskan cities.
How did you like it here? Seems really nice. Homes are a little but more costly than I would have expected. |

I love Anchorage! I'd move back there but my wife can't handle the winters, which really aren't that bad. I think it's an ideal city, large enough to do anything you want, but rural enough to do any outdoor activity and be away from people if you want. Did you go down to Alyeska? |
frost you been MIA too long
|
No. We did drive the AK1 for a while, but only for about 20 miles. I think Alyeska was another 20. It was in the high 70s/low 80s here and they were calling it a heat wave. When I left phoenix it was 114, rofl.

Yeah, it's gonna be rough. Sleep is all whacked out with the sun not going down till midnight and coming up at like, 4am.

Yeah, but it's been great. Has not rained at all while I've been here. From what I hear, that's crazy.

I want to experience a 70* heatwave.

I think I've found my next wheels. 18x10 (265-35) & 18x11(285/295-35)? Maybe 40 series tires. |
