I like those a lot. Would you put those on your 350 or 370 if you end up getting it?

cow 07-17-2009 01:40 PM

I'm considering those for the 350Z. I'll have that car for a few months more at the very least (& probably longer-- I really like not owing money).

smurfblu13 07-17-2009 02:14 PM

Always a good call. Do you want to go 18's because of tracking purposes or just like the look of them?

cow 07-17-2009 02:56 PM

Both, really. I like the functionality of 18s & from that logic, I've come to like the size because I know it's more of a "go" thing vs a show piece.

Don't get me wrong, I like & appreciate cars with nice 19" wheels, but I'm a fat tire loving function > form fan.

smurfblu13 07-17-2009 03:16 PM

Completely understandable. I like the looks of the 19 to 20's even for the 370 for the street, but would want 18's that would clear the breaks or a lightweight 19 for the track. This is all when I actually get the 370 and given I have the money for 2 sets of wheels lol. If not compromise at a 19.

cow 07-17-2009 03:18 PM

I'm with you on the 370Z.

I've already got two sets of RPF-1s. I want something a little more... shiny....

I want to sell the SBC RPF1s, I think.

smurfblu13 07-17-2009 03:20 PM

Haha I like the Enkei's though. I'm really liking the 360 forged as of late. I was always a big fan of them for BMW's and exotics. But they keep putting out solid applications for more cars now. Of course Volks and BBS can't go wrong with either. Has anyone seen LM-R's on a 370 or even 350 for that matter I've been interested to see what that would look like.

cow 07-17-2009 03:23 PM

I haven't, but I'd like to.

I may just save my money & not get new wheels. It's not like it's a necessity.

I don't know what I want, lol.

smurfblu13 07-17-2009 03:27 PM

Haha it happens. You could always save up and get the LM-R's and be the first too lol. On the saving money part this is a long shot but before I make a new thread about it. Are you any good at understanding Financial Statements for companies?

cow 07-17-2009 03:31 PM

Not really. Numbers irritate me.

(unless I'm sipping a cocktail-- they make sense then)

smurfblu13 07-17-2009 03:33 PM

Respectable lol. I'm stuck on this Finance project because Chevron is being difficult with not listing an interest expense for 2008 fiscal year.

my head hurts now

smurfblu13 07-17-2009 03:38 PM

sorry man. I posted a thread asking for help. Could you do me a favor and in like a day or two delete it. No need to have such a boring topic cluttering up the OT.

No problem & will do. Just PM me when you're ready for it to be gone.

cow 07-17-2009 06:14 PM

Got back my car & the clutch feels great. Hurrah!

theDreamer 07-17-2009 06:21 PM

What did you do to it?

cow 07-17-2009 06:25 PM

Replace it. I'd replaced the motor in April. The clutch & flywheel was also replaced, but was never right. The hotter it was, the "spongier" the clutch felt. Something wasn't right in the hydraulics.

BanningZ 07-17-2009 06:51 PM

94 degrees. Working on building a new bathroom ceiling. My framing hammer is starting to feel like it weighs 50lbs. Ugh.

Okay back to the sweat.

frost 07-17-2009 06:53 PM

All that hammer swinging should keep you in good shape :D

StLRedrider 07-17-2009 08:31 PM

Quick question: has anybody here had or know somebody that has had hip replacement surgery?

dad 07-17-2009 08:31 PM

White-I'll have to chose a color to paint.

That is why I bought an Archos 5, great for traveling. I have probably 10 movies on it, my entire music collection, great web browser, plus more. I do not have a laptop I carry around so it fills the role a bit, but looking into getting a Macbook Air but thinking of waiting till the next revision.

nogoodname 07-17-2009 08:34 PM

and the person i knew died from the 2nd hip replacement

StLRedrider 07-17-2009 08:36 PM

Do you know how long it took him to recover from the operation?

theDreamer 07-17-2009 08:36 PM

Main website, with a view of the new 10" product they are building. Link
A direct link to the Archos 5, link, but it also comes in a 7 inch model for those who travel a bit more and want a bigger screen. They are the same resolution and features, just one is bigger than the other.

The way I tell people about it is, think of the iPod touch, but without Apple.

nogoodname 07-17-2009 08:37 PM

i'm posting from the stone age. a bit of a lag.

nogoodname 07-17-2009 08:41 PM

Three months, then they operated on the other one, he was in his early 70's. But he was physicially very strong.
