It seems there is a very large bruise around the punctured area of the arm it clotted in. I'm not worried about the bruise, but there is also a tiny lump in my vein that feels like scar tissue, though I'm not sure what it is. Is it possible for that lump to be a remaining piece of clotted blood? What if it makes its way up to my heart? What if I die due to donating plasma which saves lives?
Uhhh I'd be on my way to the ER right now to have this checked out. Not to scare you, but yeah, that's nothing to f around with. Sounds like you have a hemotoma at the puncture sight, which, in itself isn't very dangerous, like you said. However, the lump should be checked out immediately.

Just finished putting together a cryogenic pump today. Only one of its kind. Initial run-in looks great, so I'm really jazzed. Next week we'll see what it can really do. Imagine a fire hose that sprays liquid oxygen instead of water!

Is it the only one period, or is it a new design?

Oh, there's lots of cryo pumps for rocket engines out there. This one is very unique though. It's a piston pump instead of the usual turbine pump. The new pump gives us multi-million dollar performance for a multi-thousand dollar price tag.

Piston cryo pumps are often used for industrial applications, but those pumps are ultra-heavy and require lots of electrical power to operate.

I have heard there are small centrifugal cryo pumps, are they not applicable for your application?
