I always close my windows when I hear one coming up. All they do is convert gas into noise, IMO>

I am with Red Zed. I don't care if it is a Ferrari/Mustang/Prius/370Z. Annoying is annoying no matter how you look at it, especially for a non track car. Heck, I am not a fan of spec Miatas exhaust doing track days during non racing event either. Sometimes people why race tracks can't be built easily in this country...
See post #1, I hate loud cars as much as I hate loud bikes, especially the really slow ones. |
this is interesting. OP doesnt like something, personal opinion, thinks it should be eliminated off the face of the earth.
P.S so what if people start bitching that they hate fast cars. Should those be eliminated and not allowed either? I mean you hate slow cars, slow cars hate you. who wins that. |

Here is an opinion. I don't like loud cars/bikes, you can disagree. Here is a fact. Some cars/bikes are LOUD, way above the legal limit. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...thParkFags.png |

What bugs me is the ridiculously loud bikes, especially the V-twin ones. There's just something I don't like about the sound they produce. Crotch rockets usually don't bother me, there's just something about a high revving motor just makes me smile. That's just my two cents. |

Speaking of social responsibility, how about going around stereotyping all bikers are narcissistic SOB's... thats socially responsible. On that same level of responsibility, I think people who drive blue z's and prius's are self-righteous opinionated SOB's. :p Im just playin around if you cant tell. But really, lots of things you dont like, just gotta deal. Unless your sleeping in the street next to the bike as it starts up and drives off, its not actually "raping" your ears or "hurting you". you just happen to hear it. |

I actually have permanent hearing damage in my right ear from a guy revving his bike on the road. Granted it was louder than usual (105dB), but it's not so far-fetched. |

Other things people have said/thought: Some headlights are too bright... some people think 10mph over speed limit is okay... somethings are too loud... at 95db.. some people say 100 is too loud.... i just punched my keyboard cus the 1 button wasnt working correctly... People have looked at my 17.3" laptop and said its too big, why do people make laptops that big.. (FU! i like the 17.3 and no one is forcing you to buy one, but i dont use it in the airplane cus thats not right to subject the guy next to me to it!) As the great thinker of our time said... "This is life so go and have a ball. Because the world don't move to the beat of just one drum. What might be right for you may not be right for some. You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have ... my opening statement. Sit, Ubu, sit. Good dog" |
