I saw a news that says cars are more efficient and the stated objective of several new auto makers. The Ford Motors officials have confirmed something brand new in this quest. Seven- and eight-speed transmissions are the newest thing for Ford Motors. These high-efficiency transmissions are already being used in Bavarian Motor Works, Audi and Lexus automobiles.fuel consumption is higher in low gears because the rpm of the engine is higher.
