Your point of being to damn lazy to call people is well received. Maybe you don't understand that your comment makes you seem like you would rather just post to face than do your damn job. Like I said before I hope to god you are never put in a situation where you have to do anything. As per your comments "that's way to much work" lazy little child.

I weep for you and your children, but then again you hpoefully won't bring down the gene pool by breeding. "I'd save them from that fire but it's way to much work, so i'll just post it on face and hope someone else saves them".....Sad times in this world, truely sad.....

Calling someone on the phone is just as lazy. Your arguing semantics here. For someone that excludes this forum, and renders it valid because we share a common interest in cars, why start a thread that has nothing to do with cars. This feeble attempt at belittling those interested in social networks is uncalled for. It saddens me that with everything going on in the world, war, natural disasters, the economy etc... the thing the really gets under your skin is people on Facebook.

Please don't take this the wrong way, because some of your reasons are valid. I think this thread has served its purpose and should be closed.

I have 2 FB accounts.

1st is for close friends and I usually just make fun of myself or what happened to me.

2nd is for business connections in the race world.

I don't use my real name for either of them, so I'm able to stay somewhat anonymous to high school friends, stalkers, etc.

Our information on facebook is already being used against us. The irony is that 99.9% of facebook users are naive enough to think that it is "free," while Zuckerberg is selling every sliver of every word/picture/video/like you post on facebook.

I like facebook. However, I get random friend requests each day and I add them anyways just in case I met them the night before and I look thru the pics to jog my memory.

I suppose a friend request confirms my incoherent bedtime actions.

There is a really good documentary about FB on CNBC that really exposes all of the data mining/retention FB does on every user. It's pretty eye-opening how much they know.

I have done a fair amount of research into facebook's business practice and I cannot believe some of it is legal. However, you can tweak your privacy and account settings to drastically cut down on what marketing/advertising companies can draw from your account and profile. It is only going to get worse, FB will seek out the maximum amount of possible revenue it can eek out of its users.
