yeah they showed people standing in line for water today and when they were turned away they didnt even get mad or act out....

yah, that is good news. hope they can do a full containment soon.

my pops mentioned that people were crowding the local stores so much that him and mom were barely able to get 2 loafs of bread yesterday morning. all dried goods, instant foods are sold out in his area. not that he's worried. his cat's back... and looks

he can still buy stuff online outside of tokyo and have it drop shipped overnight. other major cities in the west (osaka, nagoya, kyoto, etc) are operating like normal.

I was at Costco this afternoon, and they're now set up to collect donations for the tsunami relief, with 100% of donations going towards that cause. I'm sure many other businesses and organizations will be doing the same.

i think they already requested for support from the IAEA. as well as a team from the USA...but if radiation levels are really that high, what else can you do?
