I've owned 2 and the family at least 5. I'm more after the Shepherd personality than the documents. Best damm dogs in the world. Smart, loves the family, protects property and kids and a bark that convinces neer-do-wells to go somewhere else! Their two major problems are about 20% end up with hip problems and they have relatively short life spans.
