lost my big, beautiful, setter, shawnee (my avatar) 7-15 to heat stroke/heart failure. he was the sweetest, kindest, friendliest dog i've ever owned---one of my three greatest dogs.

very devoted to me...it's still a shock; like a bad dream, happening all within one day...i still see him in the kitchen, waggin' his big, hairy, red brush of a tail and "talking" to me when especially hungry...

he is greatly, sorely missed and was very much loved...

damn you dogs for dying on me...

are sometimes better than humans. They are their for us on a daily basis
and never tire of are attention or receiving our love. Its a very nice tribute to
in having Shawnee as your Avatar photo....Shawnee is smiling at all of us
today on the 370Z forum as he looks on from far away.........

at the end of the week of his passing i rescued a beautiful 2 yr. old pointer who now goes with her sister, lucy, to the dog paek EVERY morning...they get along fantastically, if wrestling constantly is considered as such...her name is (sexy) sadie...

It is with unspeakable sadness and a river of tears that I have the misfortune to say that after a brutal 7 1/2 month battle I have lost my beautiful girl Lilah to hemangiosarcoma.

She was the best friend I have ever had and for the seven years of her life she was my constant companion. Putting her to sleep is by far the most difficult decision I have ever made, but as painful as it is I am grateful that I could ease her suffering and it is a blessing that I could hold her at the end.

My wife says that if love alone could keep a dog going Lilah would have lived forever. No words spoken were ever truer. Lilah radiated happiness all around her and just her simple presence made the world a better, brighter place. It is my deepest hope that she understood just how much joy she brought to everyone she came in contact with and just how deeply she will be missed.

Goodbye, Lilah. You were the best dog I could have ever hoped for. Life will never be the same.
