Forget the poor dead carcass of bumble bee. Didn't anyone knotice that optimis had a trailer (1st time in the movies). Wonder what it's for? Does it change into anything cool like a heavy gun platform like the toy did or just to carry cargo?

wait... really? stunt drivers and doubles are supposed to be good at doing dangerous things in a controlled environment. they act based on how they rehearsed the scene over and over again. Thats like saying an actor in a movie should be better at coping with the death of a family member because they played a character in a movie in which their child died. The reason they close the street in these kinds of scenes specifically for this reason. so that the environment is controlled, and there is nothing unexpected. All the driver knows is that he's supposed to take that turn at a specific queue. If a streaker gets hit in the head with a 90mph fastball at a baseball game, its not the pitchers fault.

I'll have to check the video again but wasn't there a building on the corner? If so, there was only a small space and very little time for the camaro driver to spot the cop car at the speed he was going. I'm surprised he even hit the breaks when he did.

IF anything, the production crew should have radioed the stunt drivers to tell them something was wrong on set. Since they didn't, maybe this was a publicity stunt after all or maybe someone other than the cop and stunt driver got fired over this.

it is a "closed" set so all streets are "supposed" to be blocked off so the stunt driver never expected to see a random cop car driving through the set. I don't think he was trained to avoid a cop car that wasn't suppose to drive though the set and plus the stunt driver could have thought the sirens was from the set an not an actual cop.

Plus I think the trailer is octimis's upgraded weapons like what he had received at the end of the 2nd movie.
