What are the tracks for the first round?

I'm barely updating but the website says:

"Round 1 consists of three time trial events designed to test your driving skills and mastery of the tracks, using Nissan vehicles. "

How many tracks is it showing for you?

Rome (Reverse) -- Nissan Skyline Coupe 370GT SP ‘07
Cape Ring -- Nissan 370Z Tuned Car (GT Academy Version)




i love the 370z but without skid recovery and then ASM if it was that touchy in real life id pour gas on it and burn it to the ground...

seriously i played Tsukuba for 2 hours trying to find the right settings

the best time on that track so far is a damn 1:05... i cant see how they are doing that.. i busted my *** for a high 1:07.xx i got to where i was shaving just hundreths off

those you dont get money... go to the Aspec Bonus events.. its the 2nd slide in the seasonal events area...

there are 5 of them... you start 12th and have to get to 1st in 5 laps with each car... its pretty hard... i got silver on 4 of them and got gold on the 4th one with the challenger R/T

The fiat bonus event is hard LOL...I can get silver consistently but 1st is about 12 seconds away even when i finish 2nd.

hint: race transmission dialed in so it bounces off red once or twice near end of long straight... also, there are a few corners you can enter with a lot more speed than you initially think, including the one after start finish straight

Question: can you not change settings like ABS in-game for these GTA events? I assume it's to make it fair for everyone, but maybe it's just me. They are grayed out.

I almost won the Fiat event. I finished within a second of the leader. My lap time are between 1:19s and 1:21s with the first lap usually a 1:22s lap. I'll win this event eventually!

I just bought a PS3 this past weekend just for GT 5 and 370Z being in it. I'm sad that the Nismo isn't available. Sucks that for a few more dollars, I could have just bought an oil cooler instead, d'OH!!!!!

Same here...I can finally get within a second of 1st place...probably today I'll be able to beat it.

Well, I've managed to get silvers in all the Special Events except the last where I have only managed to get a bronze.

i got silver with a specV... it had 490 hp ( buy the midpipe and the manifold) then i did all the weight reduction ... i was able to get silver but was way off gold...

has anyone gotten a formula GT car that can online share? i need to complete the forumula GT series in extreme but i probably wont use it after that and dont want to have to earn all that $

i have 2.5 million right now ( i would have more but i bought 3 dfferent super GT GTRs) and its boring grinding the indy race 20 more times

here's how to gold on the fiat event... the first corner is key! it sets you up to come out fast and pass the first couple cars before the long straight... just jump right over the grass on the right in second turn then brake straight and 100 degree left... right turn with only barely the front left tire still on the track surface - rest is over grass - then pass a mini van and make sure you are close enough to the next car (yellow?) so that you can catch it's slipstream in time enough to pass BEFORE the long straight turns right... done correctly, you will be 17.5 seconds off the pace at the end of first lap (not 18+)... if you don't see 17.5 then reset... second lap, same thing slip stream... third lap you're on your own, 4/5 laps are all about catching the first car... you should be within ~4 secs starting last lap... goal is to be in first car's slipstream or close to it on long straight of last lap - you don't need to be ahead of it, as it is very slow coming out of the final turn... and by the way, the payout sucks on this event! some of the others pay 1 mill for gold, not this one

Finally got gold on the first two events. the fc race is killing me though I keep oversteering.

Re: GT Academy, I was able to hold on to 10th in my region before going to sleep last night; thru today I dropped down to 31st in region... then I just gained 2-tenths of a second before calling it a night... I don't even want to check how many places that got me in region, but I'm sure tomorrow will be another battle.

I just had one hell of a race in "Like the Wind" on Indy Superspeedway in the Mazda Furai beating the 2nd place car by +0.004 of a second.

I started racing this track last night never placing a better than 6th. But, this morning I had a couple close 2nd place finishes and finally a win. The Furai doesn't have enough power down the straights to compete with the LMP cars but it kills them in the corners.

I could easily put the Furai in the lead in the first lap but since the Furai doesn't have enough power down the straights I was never able to keep the lead for long. I tried blocking but that usually got me spun into the grass. It is best to follow the leaders and make your move on the last lap.

i won it in a ZR1 RM by about that same margin and got a trophy for winning in such a small amount of time... i had to block the passing cars on the last straight every lap and i could see the 2nd place car nose to nose with me as we crossed... i wasnt even sure i won

I ended up having to use up all of my vacation time over the holidays. 2 1/2 weeks of GT time while the wife is at work.

Well, I've finally won "Like the Wind" on Daytona Roadcourse in the Mazda Furai. Since I won both events now I have received a '89 Minolta Toyota 88C-V Race Car!

The biggest a help for me in winning Daytona was turning on "Skid Recovery Force". Without that assist turned on I couldn't keep the Furai pointed straight. With SRF on the Furai was a dream to drive.

well i am stuck on the last race on the professional series. My galardo is just not stable enough for that type of racing i think....Whats a good way of getting a tuned race car? Grind? Or b-spec?

I believe that I beat this championship with the Mazda Furai. The Furai is a prize car for winning the B-spec Amateur NR-A Roadster cup. If you haven't started B-spec then you are missing out on some very nice prize cars and extra money.
