Actually, if you think about it in a logical sense... If you fell in the hole you would travel to the center at 9.8 m/s until you reached the center where you would eclipse the absolute zero threshold and continue to fall at a slowing rate to the other side until gravity took affect yet again and pulled you back in the opposite direction. This would happen just a bungie cord and eventually would bring you back to the absolute zero threshold where you would stay. Or atleast till you climbed out.

Lol we talked about this in Physics back in high school. Basically we concluded what you said. You would ocillate less and less distance till you're stuck in the center and you'll feel weightlessness. Kinda like how the frog would rotate in those experiments where they levitate them.
