That thing is so gorgeous that I'm not sure I could get myself to use it.

The learning curve is steep but so worth it once you get it figured out.

Edit, or do you mean it's too nice to use?

Yeah, I have a straight razor (I'm sure Ive posted it in here somewhere), which I thought was pretty nice looking ... but not nearly that nice. Mine is a bismarck.

I like the bone scales/handle on the Bismarck. Bet it feels good in the hand.

Not sure about you, but I'm down to using it strictly once a week (Sundays) due to the time involved. I've made it a Sunday night ritual, along with cutting my nails and **** like that.

Same here. I once tried doing it while looking after my 3 year old... Big mistake :icon14: So now I leave it for when my wife is home to look after our little guy.

Cool. We have an Omega store close by and were checking them out. We almost picked one up on the spot, but my wife is making me wait until our actual anniversary in October.

Tissot is a nice mid level brand.

edub370 07-01-2013 04:25 PM

edub370 07-08-2013 09:21 AM

Nice! Hamilton makes great watches. Had one for 6yrs and no problems.

kenchan 07-09-2013 11:57 AM

nice watch. i need to have metal bands because i wash my watches on occasion. i just run a seiko kinetic. i like how it's precise unlike those orient autowind watches.

Padron 26
My Father Le Bijou 1922 (the Special Edition run was amazing)
Ashton VSG (one of my go-tos)
Oliva Serie V (Serie G and O are good too)
La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor

I always stock Cusano 18s since they are good for new smokers. Smooth and light, with nice flavor.

Nice. I started on Padron. Yeah I know, right? lol. My "go-to" cigars are Torano Exodus 1959, Tatuaje Cojonu 2006 and Antano Dark Corojo. mmmmmm... num num num.

OH! I'm getting this as soon as I get into my new place in a week. A Lotus Black Label flat flame lighter. I attached a pic below. Super stoked. Got money now but refuse to buy it until I move. Presents to myself. You know. lol.

First thing I put in my apartment was my stereo. But of course! Here's a couple of pics. Finally have room for a good setup and no roommates to bother me. So awesome.

In case anyone is wondering, the speakers are Phil Jones AAD 2001. Been out of production for at least 10 years now. Short of the B&W Diamond series, I haven't found any that could beat them. The amp is a cheap Bada dc-222. Rewired and re-capped. Sounds a million times better than stock. The DAC is a Cary 32-bit Xciter series. Too much else to list but yeah. I'm dedicated to 2-channel. ;) no tv in this room!!! Lol

Early 5-year wedding anniversary gift for Kate (we could not wait)
