Oh cool. Honestly, watches never go out of style. Well except for maybe some of the digital ones from the 70s.

Omega makes a great watch. I do like Rolex but think they are a little too cliché these days. I still want a Submariner at some point, but before than I want to pick up an Omega Seamaster or Planet Ocean as well as a Speedmaster (first watch on the moon).

Yes! I am now going to attempt to be good, as believe it or not, this is one thread that Frost wanted to be taken seriously, and not turned into a silly mess :p

On a different note, I like a good quality watch, but a $500 to $800 watch can now be had for $300 or $400 in this economy, a good deal and a quality timepiece. Too many of the high end (pricewise) stuff is just brand bragging wrist candy................ not that I wouldn't love an Omega :p

People buying divers' watches who only go in the pool, people buying aviator watches who only fly first class on Delta a couple times a year ... Yeah, it's mostly the bragging rights.

Edit: Although, I of course wouldn't turn one down. I hate actually wearing jewelry, but love a nice watch.

. and i love it. It goes with most of my suits and casual outfits. I have recieved many compliment on it. Most men and women can appreciate a delicately made timepiece.

But My 1911 is my baby. Notice the bullwood crimson trace laser grips. I sight in the laser at 70 feet. Cuz I can use iron sights for less than that.

These east coast mags have no idea what it's like to live in AZ, that's for sure. All their clothes still revolve around jackets. I'd die if I wore a jacket, even in winter.

It gets cool enough here in January and February to wear a light jacket, and occasionally a heavy one. At night it can be cool during those months as well. But I get what you mean, they start wearing jackets in NY in September. It can still be 95 degrees here in September.
