I'm not a watch whore, because for the most part, I dislike wearing jewelry. But I did see a couple watches recently I liked:

I'm not a cigar connoisseur, although I do enjoy a cigar every couple months. I don't have particular tastes, and I don't find that the more expensive cigars has better flavor or "smokability." I have a box of cubans that just sit in the humidifier because I don't believe they are any better than cigars from other regions. That being said, I was gifted 5 cigars called Eileen's Dream. It's a flavored cigar, which I know most aficionados will scoff at, but I don't care. I have to say, this is one great cigar. I put those 5 to bed rather quickly, and a couple days ago, I found a cigarillo version at the cigar shop, which was great because I prefer cigarillos to the standard-sized cigars. From my understanding, they also make a pipe tobacco in the same flavor.

Eileen's Dream is a combination of Irish cream and white chocolate truffles. Our Irish cream is made from superior Irish whiskey, frothed cream and fresh coconut milk. White chocolate truffles subtly blend hazelnet paste, ground almonds, cocoa and vanilla extract. These flavors mix with mild Dominican tobaccos and a grade-one Cameroon wrapper to complete this five-star treat. Relax in the tranquility of Eileen's Dream, and let it lead you into an idyll of green grass and smiling emerald eyes.

Best Mail Order Foods (By Men's Health)

1. Fresh Maine Lobsters, Clams, Sea Scallops and Crabmeat | Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound 04605
Dozens of companies will send you elaborate live-sea-critter dinners, clam chowder, shell crackers, and all. We just want really good lobster, and this is the best we've tasted. Crack a beer, have a bite of this superfresh, sweet product, and pretend you're at a seaside shack in Maine.

2. The Chefs' Warehouse
Your local market probably doesn't carry buffalo, white balsamic vinegar, or black truffles still moist with Italian soil. These guys have all that and loads more.

3. Home Page | Melissa's Produce
They search the globe for odd fruits and vegetables--strawberry papayas, morel mushrooms, limequats. The tiny, delicate vegetables in the Baby Vegetables Basket are sweet and succulent enough to double as dessert.

4. Frog Hollow Farm | Home Page
We think these guys grow the tastiest peaches in the world (loaded with vitamin C and antioxi-dants). Try the Cornucopia of California for a monthly supply of heirloom apples, Satsuma tangerines, and cherimoyas.

5. Chocolove Chocolate Bars - Home Page
When it comes to the antioxidant powers of chocolate, darker is better--and this Extra Strong Dark has 77 percent cocoa, only 18 grams of sugar, and a finish creamy enough to convert any milk-chocoholic.
http://www.chocolove.com/images/bar_cherries_575.jpg

6. FishEx / Fisherman's Express - Alaska King Crab and Seafoods
This company's Yukon River king salmon has up to twice the amount of omega-3s in the famous Copper River kings. And don't forget the halibut, black cod, and crab legs.

7. All Natural Meat: Get the Best All Natural Meat from Niman Ranch
This beef gives you the best of both worlds: the high levels of omega-3 fatty acids of grass-fed beef and the rich marbling of corn-fed cattle.

8. Organic Olive Oil
It squeezed past 600 European oils to reach the world's top 10 in Germany's version of Food & Wine. Unbeatable taste.

9. Gourmet Cheese | Cheese Gift Baskets | Artisanal Cheese
The selection and ripening process are overseen by New York City's renowned fromage master Terrance Brennan. Try the Fiscalini Bandaged Cheddar or the buttery Taleggio.

10. http://www.mindfulmornings.com
Handmade whole grains mixed with dried fruits and nuts.

10 Commandments of Style, by GQ Magazine

1. Honor Thy Tailor
http://www.gq.com/images/slideshows/...nts/00001v.jpg
Even the best suits need altering. Pants need to be shortened, jackets need to be brought in, sleeves need to be narrowed (yes, you can ask your tailor to slim down your sleeves), and buttons need to be realigned with buttonholes (most guys’ shoulders aren’t entirely even, meaning your jacket often sits a bit askew). You should always buy your correct size, but you then need to have a tailor customize it to your body. It’s the difference between being appropriately dressed and being stylishly dressed.

Suit, $1,295, by Valentino. Shirt, $400, and shoes, $500, by Prada. Tie by J.Lindeberg.

2. Thou shalt wear sneakers made for a man
http://www.gq.com/images/slideshows/...nts/00002v.jpg
It’s fine to own crosstrainers and running shoes and hightops. But save them for the gym. When you’re on the street, keep your sneakers simple and classic. Go for ones like Stan Smiths, Jack Purcells, and Sambas. They work with everything, including suits.

Sneakers, from top: Samba by Adidas, $75. Carnaby Retro by Lacoste, $85. Jack Purcell by Converse, $70.

3. Thou shalt invest in the right timepiece
http://www.gq.com/images/slideshows/...nts/00003v.jpg
Buy a high-quality stainless-steel watch. It looks as right with jeans as it does with your best blazer.

Rolex, $3,250. Shirt, Polo by Ralph Lauren. Pants by Ralph Lauren Purple Label.

4. Thou shalt match your socks with your suit
http://www.gq.com/images/slideshows/...nts/00004v.jpg
When choosing socks, the basic rule is to consider the suit instead of the shoe—in other words, if you’re wearing a navy suit with black shoes, reach for navy socks. And when wearing a light suit, make sure the socks are darker than the suit but a shade or so lighter than the shoes.

Suit, $1,850, shirt, $545, and shoes, $520, all by Prada. Vintage tie by Helmut Lang. Socks by Pantherella. Watch by Breitling.

5. Thou shalt not wear a tie that is too slim
http://www.gq.com/images/slideshows/...nts/00005v.jpg
Unless you’re a hard-core fashion guy who favors a superskinny tie, stick with one that measures about three inches at its widest point. It will be narrower than traditional ties, but not by too much. Tie one on and you’ll look modern and sophisticated.

Ties, from left: Gant, $85; Ted Baker, $75; Tino Cosma, $95; Vintage by the Aron Group, $39.

6. Thou shalt put your wallet on a diet
http://www.gq.com/images/slideshows/...nts/00006v.jpg
Your wallet should not be as fat as a burrito. In fact, you should get rid of your wallet and, while you’re at it, trash all the receipts, video cards, and other unnecessary crap that’s stuffed in it. Buy an elegant, slim leather credit card holder and stock it with your essential cards. Then, fold your cash in a money clip. All that other nonsense can go in your desk drawer. You don’t need it.

Credit card holder, $35, by J. Fold.

7. Thou shalt wear the right tie with the right tux
http://www.gq.com/images/slideshows/...nts/00007v.jpg
Two points to remember: (1) A bow tie goes best with a peak-lapel tuxedo, while a straight tie works better with a notch lapel. (2) Regardless of what kind of tie you’re wearing, make sure the fabric matches the lapel. If your lapel is grosgrain, your tie should be grosgrain. If your lapel is satin, your tie should be satin. And one more thing: Your tie (no matter its shape) should be black. Colored ties are for the prom.

Tuxedo, $1,895, by Calvin Klein Collection. Shirt, $165, by Thomas Pink. Bow tie, $40, cuff links, and studs by Paul Stuart.

8. Thou shalt wear brown shoes—with nearly everything
http://www.gq.com/images/slideshows/...nts/00008v.jpg
Black dress shoes are easy—they’re understated and tasteful. Brown dress shoes up the style factor. People notice them. They go best with gray, khaki, or navy. Dark brown shoes are easier to pull off than light brown ones.

Shoes, $790, by J.M. Weston. Suit pants by Tommy Hilfiger.

9. Thou shalt learn when to cuff ‘em
http://www.gq.com/images/slideshows/...nts/00009v.jpg
If you’re wearing a trim, modern suit with flat-front pants—the kind often shown in this magazine—you should not cuff your pants. However, if you’re a guy who likes a classic suit with a single pleat, go for a cuff—but not more than one and a half inches deep.

Suit, $3,295, shirt, $325, and tie, $135, by Ralph Lauren Purple Label. Shoes, $575, by Ermenegildo Zegna Couture.

10. Remember thy undershirt
http://www.gq.com/images/slideshows/...nts/00010v.jpg
This one’s tricky. If you’re wearing a conventional white broadcloth dress shirt (which means it’s fairly see-through), you have two options: Skip the undershirt and you’ll look clean and stylish. Or, if you’re a hairy guy who perspires a lot and you feel safer in an undershirt, wear a crewneck. The lines of a V-neck or tank top will be visible beneath your shirt and tie and you’ll look cheesy. If you prefer a V-neck or tank top, you might consider other dress shirts. Go for ones with checks or stripes, which make an undershirt less visible. Or opt for hardier fabrics, like an oxford cloth, which make undershirts all but invisible.

Shirt, $325, by Lorenzini. T-shirt, $17, by Calvin Klein Underwear. Tie, $39, Vintage by the Aron Group.

I have a nice J. Fold bi-fold wallet, holds 2 cards (credit and debit) on one side and has a clear plastic window for my license on the other, nice and thin. I keep another card wallet that holds 10 cards in my Z center console ............ has all the peripheral cards, grocery store, restaurant discount, health insurance, club membership, etc., when you need one you slip it out and back in after use, keeps the hip pocket wallet slim :tiphat:

I don't think I ever heard the sock thing. I don't think I ever thought about weather they are darker or lighter than the pants as long as they match.

As for the undershirts, it can be tough to ask a dude in Phoenix to wear a full short sleeve shirt, a long sleeve shirt on top of it, and possibly a jacket with the heat here.

When it comes to a shirt and tie, I always wear a t-shirt under the dress shirt. The t-shirt keeps the sweat away from the dress shirt and gives a cleaner look in summer heat. You get used to it. I also have always matched the sock to the pant color, or if wearing off white khakis, a tan colored sock (darker than the off white pant, but lighter than the shoe)

I wear under shirts, and it's generally not an issue because I don't wear a great deal of translucent shirts.

If someone made a nice thin/cool full t shirt, I would consider it. (I'm sure these t shirts exists, I just wouldn't know where to get them)

Does a wicking shirt work correctly when worn as an under shirt?

I think so. I wear them all the time now when I'm in a suit. Otherwise, I wear a tank when wearing a collared shirt.
