I don't see why this is so difficult, or even up for debate. If you want to believe you are of the opposite gender than which you were naturally born, and want to get it changed anatomically and legally, that's your prerogative. BUT, don't force YOUR ideologies onto me or other people. Just as you are entitled to believe the gender you think you are other than what you actually are, I am entitled to reject your beliefs. I am not denying your humanity, but I will NOT recognize nor address you as the post-operation gender to which you claim to be.

That being said, in terms of sports, if you were born a male, you need to compete with men; if you were born a female, you need to compete with women. Quite frankly, I find it disgusting and disgraceful that a MAN would win, let alone compete, in a WOMEN'S beauty pageant. Just because you change your gender anatomically/legally does NOT change it biologically.
