Just got accepted to a European Business Seminar study abroad program for Marketing majors at Baylor. It will take place late this summer--we will visit facilities like Lamborghini, Land Rover, Ferrari, Swarovski Crystal, Gucci, and others; analyzing consumer behavior and human tendancy analytics and creating mock targeted ad campaigns and other marketing projects.

Concerning the topics of "selling off user data to third-parties" and "collaboration between big businesses to create algorithms which predict human tendencies and conveniently provide clickbait content"--I'm not a fan. These mock projects are certainly going to grant me great perspective, making it all the more interesting.

As of right now, I'm not certain on the specifics surrounding COVID guidelines. I trust I'll be learning more about that as our group prepares for the trip and sits in on info sessions.
