yea i got you.

just saying i went to a bunch of non-chain places to eat and got great food. hit the seafood place and made them regret having all you can eat for $20.

guess i have an advantage where i found a bunch of nice golf courses around the area so i can go knock out 18 holes then come back for events and whatnot.

I hear you.

Do realize though that the area where ZdayZ will be at is only 1 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Truly beautiful place to drive. Not to drive fast, but quite nice all the same

Maybe so but we could work around the cops where we were. I doubt that will be possible here. I have a feeling they will be out in force. Plus, it was cheap all considered. I don't need the best of everything. Golfing, not happening.

idk why the cops are such a concern though. i doubt they will be just cruising around the resort looking to pick people up for public intoxication and the cops on the road were way worse on the dragon anymore i didnt even drive it. after 3 years ago when a d bag trooper made an illegal u turn to chase 3 of us down, who were doing 32 mph mind you, and wrote us up for doing 50mph. that was the moment i said i was done using the dragon. i did it for 6 years prior i wasnt missing out. TN state troopers can lick my sack after that.

Park Police are all over the BRP, and even worse is packs of motorcyclists. We'd be jammed up easily.

But the tag about his sister is ok? I took mine down out of courtesy but I think that's a crock...

I wish people would stop taking things on the internet out of context and then getting offended by it. I'm going to start signing my tags.

JARblue 01-12-2021 12:29 PM

Couldn't sign the prenup tag... too many characters :(

I didn't even see the sister one. No tags should be done involving friends, families, etc. Keep the kok jokes and 13 yr old mentality to one another. I'll tell all you guys to go blow Zoren. I'll never say that to someone's mom or wife. Now respect my dieing wishes ya faking kok heathens!!!

You're such a softie :icon17:

For the record, anything goes for tags directed at me. Usually the more outrageous and offensive, the better laugh I get from them. If I get offended at all then that just means there's some truth to it lol

Call me what you'd like, but even I had moral lines that will not be crossed. lol. Now if you want to see something soft, you might wanna go harp on EW some more.

The Blue ridge Parkway is a slow parade of campers, cars and motorcycles rubber necking on the weekends. Plus you have to focus on the vehicle in front of you. Because they will pull off to the side of the road at anytime without using their turn signs. Best time to it hit the Parkway is the middle of the week. And if you plan on driving the full length of it. Give yourself 2 days to do it.

If anyone cares for an update...wheels aren't bent according to Discount Tire. They just weren't balanced correctly (only ever balanced at DT) thus causing the spinning issues that Mazda noted. Got it all squared away yesterday but still feeling vibration when braking, just not as terrible.

There are lots of caves in our area so the roads go to **** pretty soon after they repave. :icon23:

Glad to hear that the wheels are OK. For the vibration-on-braking, I'd try bedding the brakes.

In some places, the pot holes are mini sink holes.

Leingod 01-12-2021 05:24 PM

Needs more rock salt on the roads to really rust up all the bolts. Make it a real NE beater.

If you don’t hear cycle then pads correctly it can cause that and there’s no fix, other than new pads/rotors/both.

We have signups for public to get vaccs. Check around and get on the list. They call you up with not much time available. Cant refreeze doses when people miss appointments or whatever. Plus there is usually a dose or two extra in the vials so more people can get stuck.

Have to get some other shots. One is for tetanus and a few others. :icon14: First time of hearing that you have to get shots before seeing a newborn. :icon14: We get the shots tomorrow.

Whooping cough. It’s part of the tetanus cocktail.

That’s from a warped rotor :iagree:
Either from someone unevenly over torquing, or from being hot from braking & cooling quickly...(cold water hitting them while hot).
Plan to purchase new rotors & pads, most likely the front,,,as an educated eye can see which ones
Most of the time, it’s the fronts :ugh2:

jchammond 01-12-2021 06:57 PM

You may be able to have them resurfaced on lathe...but sometimes not cost effective, unless you’re doing it yourself
