My county was solid blue until 2016. It flipped red and stayed red. People are tired of the some old politics and want a change for the better. But neither side is offering anything that is better. Neither side wants to comprise. Pelosi would cut her nose off then work with Trump. Trump wouldn't talk to Pelosi. Had to go through 3rd party.

Exactly. The fringe nut jobs yell the loudest, act the dumbest and get the media attention, which in turn just eggs them on to greater heights of stupidness.

Judge a person on their actions; most people just want to have a drama free life and live it to the best of their abilities.

Yep. work to make things better for the people, I dont give a crap which side you are on. Stop trying to spite the other party or get the upper hand.

I'm asking this because despite the fact that I'm involved somewhat heavily in local politics and know a lot of people from a lot of groups, I haven't met a single person who meets that description, much less an organized group of individuals spanning the US who do. AntiFa is a label - anti fascist. As far as the name goes, I'd hope that many of us are indeed anti fascists, but as far as the way I hear them described by people as an organized and violent group of extremist left wing nuts, I'm not meeting them or aware of their existence. On the other hand, I'm very aware of groups like the Oath Keepers.

I'm not unwilling to change my perspective, but what we are encountering in our areas is very different.

It's coming out on the news now that in some of the pictures are known AntiFa members inside the capitol building.

If you in to the history of AntiFa. They use the same tactics as Fascists'.

Got my new Speedhut digital afr and boost gauges. They're plug and play into my existing Speedhut analog wiring harnesses and sensors so I'll be putting my analog gauges up for sale with brand new wiring harnesses and sensors.

Haven't heard from Seb today so that either means my car didn't make it on the dyno today (which I hope is the case). If the car went on the dyno today and I hear from him late, most likely it means there were issues. :ugh2:

JARblue 01-07-2021 07:39 PM

Good evening everyone :hello:

For the record, I hate labels. Why do I have to be labeled as a specific party just because of one policy that I happened to agree or disagree with. I support and protest policies from almost all sides. And the reason I have to do that is because no one wants to compromise anymore so it's an all or nothing proposition. No thanks; I'm sick of that crap :gtfo2:

Meant to get the headlights done on the Z but instead I am going to get the fire started a little early for outdoor game night while the host gets his kiddos to bed

Well, fuk. Got a dyno sheet from Seb. The car's doing the same thing. :shakes head: It makes 20psi but only 630 hp. They're going to check tomorrow to see if there might be an exhaust restriction somewhere.

You running long-tubes?

Cut it loose at the collectors & run open headers

Texas roads are pretty good except in places with expansive soils.

It's the same exhaust I had on it when it made 680whp. They're thinking it's possible one or both of the 100 cell mil spec cats is fouled or something. I asked LJ at Specialty Z if they could do a dyno pass uncorked to rule out or verify that it's an exhaust restriction. He said he'd ask Seb.

That should be easy to check. Drop the y-pipe and put it on the dyno with basically open headers.

What about clutch slip, or would the dyno sheet reflect that? Here's the dyno sheet. The blue line is the blower that's currently on there, the red line is before it was modified?

The graph looks too good for clutch slip. When a clutch slips on the dyno you get react readings.

I was just doing some reading on that and they were saying you won't always get it by just looking at power and torque curves. You really need to calculate speed and gear ratio to be sure.

But, I sent an email to Seb asking him what he thinks. As you can tell, I'm really grasping at straws now :icon17:

When I had the new blower installed, I had a prototype belt tensioner set up installed on the top side of the blower belt. I also have the stock lower tensioner set up on it. I wonder if with both tensioners on there, it might be putting too much load (drag) on the motor?

Though you’re in Cali; may have to either get some nice headers & HFC’z....Z1’s Shorty, FI’ Long Tube or PPE’s Long Tube :iagree:
Where’s I lives at, heck....you could bout roll without mufflers at all & certainly without cat’s :ugh2:
I haven’t measured the tubing on the oem header, but they aren’t very large :icon14:

Now on a Turbo engine, the turbocharger creates it’s on restriction/back pressure....so you can exhaust out the hood, fender or flow out the rear w/3” or larger

Heck, as close as you are to Seb....you can go catless & then install for your yearly inspection...then remove afterwards :tiphat:
