You need a Rupes DA polisher. A cordless Makita never ever has came to mind.

That's what the hazard fraud is a clone of, one of the lower end Rupes, looks identical other than the colors. It does a pretty good job, took out all of the swirl marks and the majority of the scratches with some med polish.

That is the one I'd like. Madwis jazz playing auto detailing friend recommends the corded version of it in one of his classes. It has a dual mode forced or free spin action and no cords to smack the car with. It's about the same price as the high end Rupes and I have a pile of batteries for it.
