On a positive note, before I forget... I got the trache taken out of me first thing this morning. No stitches, no staples, nothing... just slapped a pad of gauze

On a positive note, before I forget... I got the trache taken out of me first thing this morning. No stitches, no staples, nothing... just slapped a pad of gauze over the hole and then a piece of tape and said in a week it will heal itself shut.
It sure feels good to not have that plastic pipe hanging down in my throat on the inside. I feel for the people that have those permanently. I had this one for about 48 days and that was plenty... |
