It was hot down in that hole today. They said 92 but I was sweating like it was 100+.

Took a walk around the bottom of the silo I cut into a few times. It's about 60ish in there. The corn is still about 45in the silo so it stays cool.

Then we found a huge fan. Pointed that baby right down the new tunnel. It's almost too cold standing in the doorway. It made the 2 o'clock popsicle break really nice.

Helped a buddy run wire and solder a few cables for a backup cam for his Ford transit 350. When it takes more than 5 seconds to walk from the hood to the rear, you know it's going to be interesting running a wire loom.

The only thing I found is that the Fontana Village owners surrended the lease back to the TVA. TVA is looking for another partner for the place.

It's a 140" wheelbase. The last regular cab, 8ft bed Power Wagon made.
They all are quad cabs with 6ft beds now, with 149" wheelbase. If they ever made a regular cab, 6ft bed, 120" wheelbase model. I would be all over it.
Picture of a concept truck running around.

Because I'm using up all 20" of my suspension travel.

Yeah, wheelbase makes a difference; as my 1992 K1500 is 111.5” wheelbase & maneuverability is very good :ugh2:
It’s on the list for some upgrades, suspension lift, larger wheels & beefier front IFS w/locking capability
It does really well off-road with factory suspension & 33x12.50 Nitto MT’s, and holds the interstate well at high speeds & towing :iagree:
Can’t complain about it, with 344,000+ miles on the dial
Only pulled & had 700R4 trans bench built 1x :tiphat:

jchammond 06-21-2020 02:40 AM
