You going with all block, or block so far up?

Kudos to you for that one. I am now cleaning the milk off my monitor from when it shot out of my nose. Well played, sir :tiphat:

It was all I could do to get one done in a day. :shakes head:

Fortunately there was no soldering involved. They're crimped into a 25 pair module. Just tedious. Back even before Rusty, they used to do twist splices with a sleeve over each twisted wire. Those guys were craftsmen. Beautiful work.

We'll stick with block for the walls, most likely.

Have you considered balsa wood for the wall construction?

JARblue 08-21-2020 11:01 AM

Got to work today and there's only one work truck there, but he's parked sideways across 3 spaces in our small lot

When I told one of the workers it needed to move now, he said it would be a minute. I said ok, but the tow truck isn't far. He got one of the other guys to move it right then.

Yes, and paper mache for the roof. JB weld instead of fasteners.

Looks like you have a good handle on things. I was just checking. For the record, some chewing gum can work as a fastener in a pinch

Where did we land on sticky tack? Is that just for bumpers, or are walls ok too?

You should send it off to madwi as a test to see if he can redo it and replicate the quality finish on it :twocents:
