It's 57F, going up to 80F.

The cooler nights have made sleeping great. Open windows with fresh air and a breeze is lights out city.

What was that noise about Trump saying do not buy “Goodyear” tires?

Did he had a blown out condums somehow?

Does anyone listen to that windbag anymore? Kinda funny how the Presidents limo has goodyear tires on it.

It was because they banned maga hats at work or someshit.

Full blown pandemic, bombshell open/closed case of Russian interference with the election, destroying mail sorting machine to "reduce costs", and a myriad of other things nobody can keep track of anymore. Yet we have the moron promoting Goya products on the presidential desk and blasting Goodyear because of banned clothing. No wonder they moved their main plant to Mexico last year.

Let's at least put someone smart into office who can lie to my face so i believe it. Idc if it's dem or rep. Bring back the good ole' days when a compromised email server was the worst worry in the world.

For my car that is about right. They lower the temps go traction starts to become an issue and you need to drive for 45min to get temp in the tires.

Leingod 08-20-2020 08:20 AM

I like my pissed off mood days. Told the big boss to suck it up buttercup or fire me. I'd collect more from unemployment anyways. Have fun explaining to HR why you are now out 3 Exchange admins in just over a year. Except this time, nobody with email knowledge to replace me. And the bank is on a hiring freeze.

And just got word the new guy that was hired as an admin at the FCU the other 2 Exchange Admins went to quit yesterday. So they'll have a viable position open soon. The wheels of motion are crushing the skulls of those left in a dying position.

Leingod 08-20-2020 08:25 AM

AND ANOTHER THING!!!

The shrimp tacos with soft corn tortillas heated with duck fat alongside a jalapeno line crema sauce was amazing last night.

Falconquey 08-20-2020 08:34 AM

Political comments from the depressed...

Think I'll have to bypass those comments.

Zoren 370 08-20-2020 08:40 AM

Dude was just reading the tags!

EW what have you done to garner so much hate comparable to Donald “Duck” Trump?!!

I bypass 90% of Zoren's and EW's posts here anyways. What's one more to add to the pile?

Goodyear sucks. I used to work for them. They always had some strange policies. Morale always was bad. Everyone was looking to get the fvck out.

Im sitting here wondering when the part will be cool enough to pick up. Took me about 20 minutes to notice the stupid infrared thermometer right in front of my nose. Part is still 173.3 degrees.

And it broke down crane day. Something is not working correctly and they have the boom stuck 80 out. Can't push it out fully and cannot get it to retract.

Early quittin' time in my book!

JLarson 08-20-2020 10:54 AM

IT group has been playing with joining us to a domain. Yesterday, they broke my account pretty badly and attempted to fix it by creating me a new one. Little did they realize they'd inadvertently deleted all my locally stored data (pretty much a **** ton of records and accumulated knowledge). Came into work today, took 3.5 hours for them to get their crap together, restore my account, and finally I rejoin the ranks of the productive.

Wtf guys.

Second coat went much better. Turned air pressure down some and adjusted flow to be slower.

Da fuq? If creating a new domain is that difficult, then I am in a completely wrong line of work.

I assume they generated a new domain and didn't realize your data was stored locally. So when they created a new profile for you, it loaded a blank slate technically. All they'd need to do is backup your old profile and reload it onto the new one with the active domain.

Or just use VDI/User mapped drives like the rest of the technological world.

You have to remember that the guy doing this used to be a brake operator who changed roles in the early 80s, and who cobbled us together a network in the early days of the internet. He has generally managed to keep things running with a strange mixture of dark sorcery, ritualistic mutilations, and actual science, and at this point is trying to modernize us; but he's 70, preparing to retire, and definitely does not look at the possible implications of what he's doing with the thoroughness he sometimes should.

I'd hire you in a heartbeat, partly because you're competent, partly because I'd love to see your expression as you trace the miles of ethernet cables suspended in our rafters, and tracing them to the various hubs and routers Rod has hidden throughout the facility.

It's like the Frank pipe x10000.

Yeah, thats why id hire lein to help out. :icon17: I fully understand the dark sorcery and rituals needed to be performed on the second dark moon while all the HDD lights sync up and flash as one on the server. Only then shall the switch be turned to ON.
