You know it.

He's about to put another newbie in his place.

Depending on what you ask him, he will either:

1. give you an entire literature narrative and will take you days to read

OR

2. go off on you

I just read it. Some people aren't very smart. Tirerack only recommends stock setup. They have no idea about tire/wheel sizing or recommending any of the such. I guess it is too much to ask for someone to read and learn.

vtec to vvel 04-18-2020 01:22 AM

I need to find someone or a place willing to let me use their lift. Time is coming up for me to change out the tranny and diff fluid, and I really don't want to use the ground

Ohhhhh now I see what you're talking about lol I was looking at another thread. I should start a dummy wheel thread just for sh!ts/giggles :stirthepot:

No need for a lift. Super easy to do on jack stands. Done a couple dozen over the years that way without issue :twocents:

I've done them too, but putting car on a lift would save me so much time and make the process so much smoother. Plus, my garage floor is at an angle, so I'm always paranoid about adding too much/little. I'll put the front on jack stands and the rear on jacks, and lower it to level and have the excess fall out after filling.

JARblue 04-18-2020 01:37 AM

First dibs here... anyone need a front set of Hotchkis billet sway bar brackets?

I bought a full set, but the front bar I bought used had a set already installed. Probably hang onto the rear brackets. But I'm not planning to use a rear sway bar and could possibly be talked out of them, too.

lol I could probably lift my Z on jack stands as quick as 2 post lift with multiple arms.

Of course, then there's this guy who has it down to a science

Yes. Iceland for one. When I was there in August, it was a high of about 56.

Inexplicably woke up at 3:45 am, can't sleep. Guess I'll make the best of it and do some recording. Have a great day friends.

So far, but I haven't used much as far as my windows shell goes, and that's where it seems schizo.

+1 for Quickjack, and I don't mean that activity you perform when you are lonely and stretched out in your front window (yes, the neighbors have been talking)

Just finished reviewing the highlights of last night on this thread...

Rusty... Rusty... Rusty... I could not help but look that one think up.... and Yes, I do get excited about Bacon, but not quite like that... :ugh2:

However, here’s just a small snippet of what I found...

'WTF! Wait, was it regular or thick cut??'
"Thick cut, maple smoked"
'Niiiiice'

Good Hand Washing Saturday Guys. Hope all of you guys are doing well. Not much on the list for today other than the usual Saturday stuff. 65* for a high today and a 50% chance of rain would be nice to help clean up all the pollen in the air. Hope you all have a good one today. Stay safe, stay positive and keep washing those hands.

Happy Saturday everyone :hello:

Buddy of mine might need a place to stay for a few months :icon14:
Not really that interested, but the rental income might be nice :)
He said 3 months max. So I'll be sure to draw up a contract agreement that specifies the terms.

I did that for an old coworker. He moved back to Canada, then wanted to come back down to Socal to try his hand at playing Poker for a living :icon14:. He paid half the rent.
He bought a 92 300zx tt when he moved back down here. When he decided to move back to Canada, he sold me the Z for 300 bucks.

Jar, I understand the income aspect but, be prepared for an overstay and not be friends after it’s all over. Just saying

madwi 04-18-2020 09:47 AM

Saying screw waiting for it to warm up, going for a spin.

Or they'll be engaged after two months.
