I have a Stihl trimmer, blower/vac, and chainsaw, plus a small two stroke rototiller, and snowblower. They all use 50:1 oil/gas mix. I'll go through about 3 gallons a year. I mix in 1 gallon can. So it's stays fresh.

Finished deconstructing the basement bathroom. The shower is going to be a headache to figure out. The drain in the concrete floor is 23" from one wall, and 26" from the other wall. And my height to the flooring joints is 78". Once I put the news and ceiling in. Those measure will be smaller.

You have to do what's best. for you and your family. Because NO one else will. The 3 basics. Food, clothing and shelter. You have to take care of those things to survive. I bought over $200 worth of meat early this week. You think I care on what Jar thinks about me buying that much meat. Hell no. So don't sweat it. Hey Jar......I'm planning on buying more meat next week too.

LMAO! I think a portable blower would have sufficed, maybe at most a 1.5 ton unit. You trying to build a big@$$ freezer? If so, maybe I can rent out that space for my overkill supply of meats that I am getting heat for lol

I bought half a cow worth of steaks yesterday.

I went back again today after work. Amazing how much can change in 24 hours. Costco is now limiting their meat sales to 3 per member/day. Unfortunately, it's a combined limit whether you buy beef/chicken/pork or one of them. So, I went home, unloaded, changed clothes, and went back. I can confirm that when they scan your card at the line, it does not log what item you bought, as I did this 3 times.

JAR, now I'll admit I may have a meat problem :icon17:

Let the race begin:

JC's freezer garage vs Rusty's basement bathroom.

Who will finish first? :excited:

JARblue 05-02-2020 02:17 AM

:rofl2: at all these reactions to people who think I give two shìts how much meat anyone purchases

I should have edited the quote down a bit more; I'm not talking about hoarding. I'm talking about reactions people have from reading or seeing things on the news. Those corporations make money on feeding the frenzy. All I'm saying is don't let them do that shìt.

Obviously there is significant concern out there with respect to supply chains and such. Stocking up food supplies is a perfectly appropriate action right now, and anyone suggesting otherwise is a either a fuckìng idiot or has an agenda that's not going to be in your best interests.

I'm considering buying a freezer and a cow

Have enough family and friends with stocked freezers. And local private options for dairy and protein if it comes to that.

Anyone know any contractors that can build me a “Bacon Bunker” like this one?

I guess I need to start stockpiling a few pork pleasantries for my upcoming time of need...and I think this will do nicely
