It is because they live so close together and take the same mode of transportation. Subway, trains, etc. Not surprised. It is gonna get worse.

Actually, it’s because in beginning, US government, WHO, and CDC had been feeding BS to the media, not wanting to further disrupt the mask supplies, knowingly under-estimating covid19.

Just look at the total infections in Hong Kong, super high population density, literally connected to China, yet the # is only a fraction of NY’s.
