Well, if from the very beginning, everybody (governments and citizens) were correctly informed and treated this with urgency, these government imposed measures wouldn’t have been needed.

Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan never reached the exploding/compounding stage because every citizen bought-in from the very beginning, nobody was complacent. Those countries kept the spread under control, and infected rate was kept at very small increment (linear curve, never reached exponential).

Other populations that exhibit ill-informed complacency are now paying the price. Many populations chose way of life and economy over taking preventive measures. Now, those populations must swing back to taking drastic measures just to preserve lives.

Unless the US gobmint takes draconian measure (eg, martial law), a lot of their efforts are in vain. There are too many bozos out there who, even when informed, will break quarantine and do other bone-headed things.

I read about the DDOS attack on HHS but they hadn't pinned the blame on anyone at that time. Link?

Yep. people are panic buying guns, now that there are no more TP to buy. A dude I work with called me yesterday to ask which handgun he should buy that has the least amount of recoil. I told him the .500 S&W

Are you serious! I guess people have been watching the news so much..including Netflix regarding Zombieland, day of the apocalypse...Doomsday etc.

I just subscribed to pornhub. Some of the girls are desperate giving me there cell numbers, I guess business are down too. Hey Bunk do you know if there is shortage of condoms too?

From reading last night.

Amazon is on shaky ground. If you ordered anything from them. You might not get it. Their warehouses are getting empty. Nothing is coming in from China to restock the warehouses. Plus if 1 employee gets the virus there. The whole warehouse is shut down.

A lot of other companies that do on line sales are canceling orders. No stock, and or can't get the material to make the items.

Our freight ports are empty. No freighters waiting to be unloaded.
