As with most things, moderation is key. Athena is small so she doesn't get much. And a chipped tooth is one reason I prefer to give her crushed pieces instead of a whole cube.

I would just read Rusty’s late night recap of what happened today.
Well as of now where talking about “Dog Styles” on feeding them of ice cubes.

Word of the day.

Mudslide! EW has it daily.

lol at all these shipping estimates :icon17: :shakes head:

eBay order scheduled to be delivered today says it out for the delivery. But the order listing still shows the same tracking for all 5 items and 4 of them still say delivery on Thurs Apr 2.

Home Depot order was 3 items with ETAs on Fri Apr 3 for the impact wrench, Sat Apr 4 for the impact driver, and Mon Apr 6 for the socket holders. The impact driver says it has shipped and delivery now says Fri Apr 3. The impact wrench shows it hasn't shipped but now says Thurs Apr 2 for delivery :icon14: The socket holders haven't changed.

I don't think shipping updates are getting done. I bought 4 HC240 monitors for the device I build from the same vendor on the same day. I got one yesterday, I'm supposed to get 2 today and one tomorrow....

The only signs of stress my dog shows is when she cant find the ice cube after throwing it across the room...lol

After we would have a good snow. Cooper would run through the backyard with his mouth open and scoop up the snow. His mouth would be packed with snow. He would then eat it. Crazy dog. :rofl2:

haha.... thats funny. Pepper has only seen snow one time. We went up to the mountains last year. It was PACKED with people trying to get up there. We finally got to the summit, and was only able to walk around on the snow along side the road. :ugh2:

I had an Australian Cattle Dog (AKA Blue Heeler) that would grab coals out of a fire and chew on them. From what I have read and heard, she's not the only ACD that does that.

Interesting. Wouldnt they burn themselves getting the coal and later chewing on it?

Rusty 04-01-2020 10:08 AM

My nephew had a lab that chased after fireworks. I was waiting for that dog to come back with his mouth blown apart. :icon14:

Last thanksgiving, we brought Pepper to Arizona with us. We were out in the front yard at my moms with Pepper off leash. A civic with fart cans was passing by and Pepper got MAD! She chased that civic off, saying F YOU! F YOU! F YOU! lol... She got really really close to it as she was chasing it away. funny, but scary at the same time.

I thought the same thing. The first few times I caught her doing it I inspected her mouth. No burns to mouth or face so I quit worrying. Cattle dogs are tough.

Years ago. One of the guys in our group in high school had a dog that ONLY chased VW Beatles. Won't chase any other car but Beatles. :icon14:

Another buddy had a Shepard that would let you on the porch. But wouldn't let you off the porch. Delivery guys hated going to his house. The only way to get off that porch was if someone was home to tell the dog it's ok for the person to go. :rofl2:

I've had two over the years. Great dogs. Very intelligent, strong drive to please so they are easy to train, very protective of other pack members, etc. Very high energy, too - if you don't keep them occupied, they will chew your house up.

I do miss Bay. She was my Blue Healer.

Bettyz, I don't see any pictures of a turbo kit in your build thread. Maybe you could stop being selfish and get that done so we have something to watch during quarantine?

FPenvy 04-01-2020 11:26 AM

just saw ufc fighter jon jones got 96 hours of house arrest for his second DUI.......during quarantine wtf lol

such a rough sentence. but good because i wanna see him fight again soon.

His second DUI plus violating quarantine. Four days of house arrest sounds too light to me. Put him in the pokey* and/or fine the hell out of him.

*Probably not good to do right now but they could postpone when he has to do time.

On the way into work this morning. I took the toll road because I didn't feel like getting stuck behind a tri-axle hauling scrap. Seen 2 state troopers before I got on the toll road. Once on the toll road. Think the slowest I went was 85. Got off the toll road, started down over the hill. Speed limit is 35 on this short section of 4 lane. So I'm booking over the hill. Back up to 85. :driving: Look at the bottom of the hill. Ohhhh chit. State trooper. :owned: Nail the brakes hard. Got down to about 40. Pass the trooper sitting on the left side of the road. He's looking at me, and I'm looking at him. Thought I was nailed. Think he was set up for the other direction.

Just read that state troopers are limiting their contact with people.

I should add the other hesitation I have is limiting myself to the Danmar D-7 lift since it's the only decent quality lift that is short enough to fit in my current garage. I don't even necessarily want a lift with runways (designed more for storage).

Yeah I had EW and a neighbor lift the parts off the trailer! Work smarter not harder :roflpuke2:

Heard that the troopers will be out and about. Going to be very visible. Because of the state going into lock down for all counties starting today.

Good morning fellas, got a story for you! Got pulled over this morning on my way to work lol.

He tried to get me to admit to speeding. I have a Valentine One radar and the whole way it stayed silent, no KA band or Laser. He was in an unmarked charger and i was at a stoplight next to him. 45 mph zone, I get up to 50/55 and he's still going. He easily got up to 75. We go through this 4 mile stretch of two lane slight twisties and he actually was driving like an a hole. Passing on the slow lane and cutting back over and what not. He got way up ahead and pulled off to get behind me.

I recorded the audio clip of him saying he was going over the speed limit and going faster to try to see if I'd keep going faster. Admitted to trying to bait me and him speeding lol. I apologized and everything but never admitted to speeding as no way he got proof of it. He said two different speeds I was going, Originally said 72 in a 55 then said 69 in a 55, so he didn't even know.

Told me "did you know the state statute says I can go above the speed limit if I have to go somewhere?" Like man that doesn't give you free will to drive like an ******* when not in pursuit and just driving. Everyone who is driving is "having to go somewhere".

I love the way this thread went from Z to man’s best friend... dogs or dags if you are a pikey

I’ve had a few. 3 German Shepherd Dogs, An English Springer (all pure bred dogs) and now went for something completely different, a cross breed bitch and she is the most affectionate loving companion you could want.

I’ve also got a fondness for the Belgian Malinois, but they aren’t really family dogs, very loyal and affectionate but will destroy everything you own...

2.5" thick beef filets in the sous vide bath. A little butter, montreal steak seasoning and a splash of worcestershire sauce. :yum: Im thinking garlic bread and some random steamed vegetable out of freezer to go with it.
