Cool thing about it; I’d be working by myself :ugh2:
I told him I’d think about it over the weekend & may consider if he removes me from the on call roster
14:30-23:00 :wtf2:
I’m thinking our contract calls for at least one tech on the heavy side from 7am-11pm
I’ll find out about any differential pay :icon17:

4 to 12 or what we used to call it. 4 to Death. Great shift if you want to save money. When you get up. You don't have much time to do anything. And when you get off. Everything is closed.

If you are working by yourself with no one else in the shop. If anything happens. They will find you in the morning. :icon14: Every place I worked at. We always had a min of 3 people per shift.

That’s a get divorce shift for a married man with kids
Mine are grown; so I’ll sleep on it a couple nights.

jchammond 10-25-2019 08:52 PM

Considering how I normally get up with the chickens, may be able to get some things done at the house & then grab a nap before work

jchammond 10-25-2019 08:57 PM

:hello: Night Folks; planning to get some lumber in the morning...Gotta make something happen here :tiphat:

I saved a bunch of money being on the afternoon shift when I was single. Get up at noon to get ready for work. After work, all the bars close at 2am. So couldn't spend a lot there.

The shop at Elliott. Around 6 to 7 pm in the summer. All the humidly would drop out of the ceiling and slam you. You could feel it coming down. It would be miserable until around 1 am.

Good Saturday Morning all. Hope you are having a great morning. UT vs TCU and the Cowboys are off this weekend but we do have F1 in Mexico so it looks to be a good weekend. The weather looks to be great as well with the highs in the mid 70*. Hope you all have a great weekend and make sure its a safe one!!

The green bottle real does bring back bad memories. It reminds me of that green bottle of magnesium citrate that I had to drink, more than one occasion. :shakes head: Hour after you choke it down. You spend the next 8 hours in one spot. The toilet. :shakes head:
