We didnt hit it off. But I gave him/her/it your home address, and said that you really, really enjoyed surprises. Especially when you're asleep.

You, sir and/or ma'am, are welcome! :nutswinger:

Nooo, I would never denigrate Zingy and I's relationship by hooking up with the future love of his life. Even if he doesn't know it yet.

jchammond 01-20-2020 04:29 AM

:hello: Morning errbody,
Pusky’s scratching & bumping my door, so better go hand out some treats :ugh2:
Gonna fire up the countertop cammer while I’m in kitchen; as I’m planning to roll out early this morning & have breakfast with Pops

jchammond 01-20-2020 04:50 AM

Happy MLK Day Folks :tiphat:

jchammond 01-20-2020 05:00 AM

06:00 Wake Up Errbody :happydance:

jchammond 01-20-2020 05:03 AM

Gonna watch some more of Carpenter’s videos & get learned up better on this concrete pour :ugh2:
Never ashamed to admit when I’m not experienced in a particular subject

jchammond 01-20-2020 05:03 AM

Reaching for my morning pills

jchammond 01-20-2020 05:04 AM

Weighed this morning after squeezing Trigger...249.8

jchammond 01-20-2020 05:06 AM

Target weight around 240# after I start back exercising a bit & tightening up :icon17:

jchammond 01-20-2020 05:10 AM

Almost time to drop the Brown’s off at the SuperBowl :stirthepot:

jchammond 01-20-2020 05:13 AM

Gonna have to make ramp form as well...that should be good, floating concrete on an uneven surface :icon08:

jchammond 01-20-2020 05:14 AM

Probably won’t go quite as tick on ramp; gotta maximized that 10yard truckload :ugh2:
I’ll stop at 12 consecutive

Well, beings all you fellas are still sleeping...I shall proceed.
The pics here are the outer boards just used for a 1.5” spacer; plan to put the form boards against these & remove these spacer boards afterwards :ugh2:
But after looking hard at it....wondering if it’s gonna be a peckerhead getting concrete all around the post & to the outside that 1.5”
Could have the concrete just inside the 6x6’s & then use solid cement blocks between the 6x’s all the way around, as when garage is let down to resting point, it will be bolted back to the 6x’s to hold in place.
Thought’s and any other idears welcome :ugh2:
Or either delete the concrete from going to outside of 6x posts & risking breaking off that piece....:ugh2:
I know there’s plenty ways to skin this puss

jchammond 01-20-2020 05:54 AM

Oh Snap...29 outside with real feel of 21* :icon14: :wtf2:

jchammond 01-20-2020 06:01 AM

Look’s like Old Guy in this video, notice the ppe :icon17: :rofl2:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cs8B7gJsO0g

jchammond 01-20-2020 06:12 AM

After watching some of these videos & knowing how long it’s gonna be before lowering my box down, contemplating just focusing on the pad for garage & the doing the ramp afterwards :ugh2:

Nope. Just get a vibrator in there and work it around.

This is much larger than you need but the vid shows how it flows when the stinger hits it. Your guy should have one.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4flTTHYdaw

You can also tap(beat the chit out of) the form work to get the mud to flow around the posts if your guy doesn't have a stinger and you can't find one to rent.

You should. The approach really needs to be a separate pour with expansion and rebar pegs. This lets the approach hinge with the floor without damaging anything.

I'd also pour the approach about 1/2" below the top of the floor. Helps keep wind driven rain from blowing under the door.

JLarson 01-20-2020 06:36 AM

Morning all! Hope you had a great weekend. All guitars and bass are now done being tracked for my album, planning to knock out some vocals this week.

Oh, and with my abrupt surplus of free time, I guess I'll start DEI wrapping my turbo kit :-D

Question. Did you use ground contact treated wood?

Rusty 01-20-2020 06:52 AM

:hello:

I'z up.

9 to 1 today.

Rusty 01-20-2020 06:54 AM

Avg price of a super bowl ticket. $6,000 each. So 2 tickets, hotel, meals, travel = about $16,000+. :shakes head:

Ground contact everywhere; but need to quit watching some of these videos, as they speak of even the ground contact post rotting off in the concrete :shakes head:

No hotel. Just stay at EWs.

Leingod 01-20-2020 07:07 AM

Morning guys. Feels weird having the day off for this holiday. Never experienced it outside of school before. I waved to Susan as she got in her car to head to work. I'm going to crawl back into bed and take a nap nap.
