I just got done mowing the grass in the backyard. Freaking green as can be. WTH, it is January. The warmer weather came and it grew.

I just washed the last two weeks of grime off my WRX. Crystal Pearl White is unforgiving with dirt.

You going to put a layer of gravel down before the concrete?

Since you got it out. Now what are you going to do with it? A good LSD? Diff cover?

eastwest2300 01-18-2020 06:04 PM

well guys and gals, its been a while since I've posted.. Im in Miami (Miramar).. Been here 2 days.. its been great. I'm in my new apartment, still unpacking boxes.. the drive down was brutal with me dragging a 5x8 uhual trailer.. The Infinity QX handled it very well.

The weather has been wonderful, I dont miss the cold and the snow. I need to start looking for some furniture.. I have none.

Miss you b*tches!

eastwest2300 01-18-2020 06:06 PM

We all know you were in hot pursuit of the naked women in the Miami airport. We got video's of it. So,,,,, Did you catch her? Was it more of a hold up than a stick up?

My first mother inlaw lived in Miramar. Used to know the area well.

On both vehicles, at the same time?

Snow/Freezing rain here still. Said **** it and stayed inside all day. I am on the hunt to buy a good tow vehicle for Z and be able to put a plow on the front of it. Gonna start doing my own driveway as these guys are clowns and show up whenever they feel like it. The setup should pay for itself in ~40 years. :rofl2:

Oh, nothing, I was just bored so I figured I'd pull something off that I haven't before.

Jk. Z1 diff cover and bushings are going in. Not really looking forward to bench pressing the subframe off the car.

If you get a used vehicle with a snow plow. Look at the plow frame and where it bolts to the the vehicle frame. Look for cracks and repairs made. Plowing is HARD on the drivetrain. So look for problems in that area too. My brother had his own snow plowing business for a while. Plus I plowed snow at the power plant.

I dropped my sub-frame with the diff in it. Just by using a floor jump. It's not hard at all.

I plan on used truck/jeep/suv with a new plow more than likely.

Yea... that's the best plan. Get a used 3/4 ton truck with a solid front axle. Ford or Ram. Chevy's don't hold up well. And put on a snow plow.

Be careful around the canals. Gators like to hide out in them after a heavy rain.

And be careful of stoners on bath salts. They like to eat your face off.

Might not put any gravel...just a couple few layers of plastic, as the clay feels as hard as concrete :ugh2:
Thinking about blocking up 1’ after concrete is poured, as that would give me 12’ minimum ceiling height :excited:
