I've decided I'm not pulling the stock injectors. Picking up another set to clean and flow test and have as spares.

Working on the fuel pressure gauge install this morning and just have one question. The fuel tap kit came with some grease of some sort, but the instructions don't reference it at all. The instruction do say to lube up the o-rings (one on the pulsation damper and one on the spacer) with engine oil. I figure the lube is now provided for those o-rings in lieu of using engine oil?

Probably a dialect grease or Vaseline type lube :ugh2:
That’s the best on o-rings

you want my oem ones? 20K miles on em. I'll have to double check and make sure I still have em but I think they are in a box in the garage. As joby would say, a little dielectric grease is always the answer when reassembling parts. Im guessing thats what the little
packet is for.

*Edit* I didnt see JC already replied about dielectric grease. :icon17:

Turtle has a set for $25 in Granbury but it looks like I won't be able to pick them up any time soon. If you find yours and want to ship them, I'll send you some cash :tiphat:

Cormorants and Herrons, nice to see them fish Steelers in the swamps and not around my pond. Last year, 3 days before I left for Z dayz I purchased 5lbs of feeder minnows ( hundreds ) for the large mouth bass, as I was pulling down the driveway on my return home I spotted a cormorant on the back side of the pond, so I moved his azz along with a little led from my pellet gun ..... to late $50 worth the minnows gone
Hate those birds :gtfo2:

What software would it take to run a Pi as a car PC? I’d love nothing more than to tap into my Nav screen and have all my gauges there. Then I could dump everything on the pillar. Plus it would give me back some of the gauges when my Greddy LCD screen decided to **** itself.

I’d probably need a detailed go-by cuz I’m IT challenged.

Morning, ladies! Six inches of snow on the ground @ midnight. Then the freezing rain began. Now its 3 inches of snow and 1/10 inch of douce-ice. Not even considering getting out on the road today.

I like to bring a little slice of the outdoors inside. Less mosquitos to eat my azz. :icon17:

I just started to build a Gargoyle gecko (Rhacodactylus auriculatus) cage. I hope to have some plants start growing in it by tomorrow and bring home the gargoyle in a few months when the plants have taken hold.

Let me look whats out there these days but Im sure there are step by step youtube guides. I am not sure what the oem nav screen has for inputs and what not so not sure if an easy hook up to the Pi. I have a base so was going to use a screen in the cubby recess.

TBH, the VVEL module takes about 5 minutes to replace. The hardest part is taking the battery out of the battery compartment..lol

Woke up with a layer of ice on everything. Temp now is 33F, with pouring rain. When the temps drops. It's going to be ugly.

Washing this dirty b*tch today, looks like we’ll have a 3 day patch of clear weather. Haven’t cleaned it in about 3 weeks due to the weather, and i put on a very healthy amount of miles everyday. Dinner tonight then to my biddies house to catch the UFC fight. A shame the card is garbage besides the main fight.
